"Welcome to my web site".  If you are an old friend, or a new one, I hope you enjoy the paintings I've posted.  Many of them have been sold and many belong to friends and family, and then there are the ones I can't part with, and oh yes, there are a few for sale.

 I know I'm supposed to say something about ME!!  OK, I live in Oregon and have been painting for 25 years.  I paint in all mediums.  I can never settle on just one.  As soon as I get quite comfortable, I get bored.  I also like to change subject matter often. 

I have had my work in several galleries and I even sold on eBay for a while.  I had the great good fortune to be published in a six page article in "Watercolor Magazine" before my mother passed away.  (it's nice to be able to say, "Look mom, see what I did.")

Life is funny.  I thought that I wanted fame, but I was wrong.  Now I just relax and paint for myself.  I no longer desire the approval of the world.  It is great to be free.  So what you see here is the random expressions of a liberated spirit.  If you like it, let me know.  Who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to set yourself free too.

I am planning to add a few slide shows of the process I go through when I paint. I imagine other artists will find them either helpful or humorous.  Keep checking back if that intrests you, or email me.  Nagging works.
